Urban Overlay District, Chamblee, Georgia, intended for revitalization of an aging industrial area; approximately 1,500 square feet of office on Main Floor with 500 square feet of Conference space on the Upper Level, accessed by stair and elevator with a Garden Rooftop at the rear. Storage, Bike Racks, and Employee Shower Facility are in the Basement at the rear. The Bike Racks and Shower are in cooperation with a local initiative to encourage use of transportation alternatives to automobiles. The interior spaces are arranged in an L-shape around a courtyard at the northern corner of the building, which is shaded by a trellis and screened by a stainless steel mesh surrounding it to allow a combination of air circulation and privacy, while allowing users of the space a view of the surrounding area.
